History of electric car prices from the USA for 2020

Dec 31, 2020

The global automotive market is betting on electric cars. This becomes apparent when analyzing how much money leading car manufacturers are investing in the development of vehicles equipped with electric engines. Such cars lack an internal combustion engine. Instead of gasoline or diesel, they use electric power. The cost of 100 km on electric traction is about 12-15 UAH, which is 8-10 times less than the average cost of a diesel car's mileage, not to mention gasoline. Moreover, it's an eco-friendly mode of transportation, causing no harm to nature and running quietly.

Until recently, the mass distribution of electric cars was hindered by small mileage per charge and relatively long battery recharge times. Charging from a regular household socket takes 8-10 hours. The development of charging stations solves this problem, allowing the car to be charged in just 0.5-2 hours. The issue of small mileage is solved by more capacious batteries in new electric car models.
